HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush Updates Hub
Launch window facts: date, editions, roadmap, and preview notes — not live patch notes yet.
HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush is still an upcoming racer, so this hub is a launch-window desk rather than a live patch log. Use it to pin the worldwide date, compare SKUs, and read what public hands-on sessions actually showed. Milestone S.r.l. develops and publishes the game. Worldwide launch is September 10, 2026. Ultimate Edition Early Access begins September 7. Older trailers that still mention September 24 are outdated.
If you need a first-session plan after you pick a SKU, jump to the getting started guide. Hardware and store questions belong on the platforms page. This page stays the map for calendar and commerce facts.
Launch timing and platforms
Milestone originally announced a September 24, 2026 ship date, then moved the window up two weeks. Gematsu and Milestone both confirmed September 10 as the new worldwide date, with three-day Early Access for Ultimate owners on September 7. That is a calendar change, not a soft launch: Standard, Deluxe, and other SKUs still wait for the 10th unless a storefront explicitly lists Early Access.
The lineup is PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store, plus ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X. Director Domenico Celenza told GamingBolt the performance targets: PS5 Pro at 4K with PSSR up to 120 fps, PS5 and Series X at 4K60, Series S at 1440p60, and Switch 2 at 1080p30. Cross-play covers every platform except Switch 2. Local split-screen supports four players. Online races go to twelve, with Switch 2 listed at six. Full store and date notes live on the release date and platforms page.
Editions in one glance
Standard ($49.99) is the base game. Pre-order adds the Boost’n’Slide Pack: Driftsta and Power Pipes. Deluxe ($79.99) adds the Vehicle Pass (44 cars over more than a year). Deluxe pre-order also includes Boost’n’Slide plus Feel the Heat (5 Alarm and Power Bomb). Ultimate ($99.99) stacks the Vehicle Pass, the Ferrari Expansion Pack (new island Isola Ferrari and eight Ferraris), the Car Collection Pack, the pre-order packs above, Power & Pace (Greased Lightnin’ and the 2023 Ram 1500), Bone Shaker Skeletor Edition, and three-day Early Access.
A physical Day One Edition bundles the base game with Boost’n’Slide, Feel the Heat, Power & Pace, and Bone Shaker Skeletor. It is not on Switch 2; check a local retailer. On August 6, 2026, Milestone published a loyalty discount for Unleashed owners. Epic and PlayStation list 10% off Ultimate; other stores vary. The loyalty discount page is the offer explainer. The editions and pre-order guide is the buying page.
Roadmap after launch
The Vehicle Pass is the long garage plan: 44 extra cars across more than a year, mixing Acceleracers, Highway 35 World Race, Hot Wheels originals, and licensed brands. Packs also sell separately if you skip Deluxe or Ultimate. The Ferrari Expansion is a real island expansion, not a livery pack. Epic storefront copy says Vehicle Pass content completes by October 2027. Read the post-launch roadmap before you pay twice for the same cars.
What previews actually showed
Public hands-on coverage from GameRant, DayOne’s Summer Game Fest session, GameRiot, TheGamer, and IGN Live’s challenges trailer agrees on a boost-centric arcade racer across open islands, with on-the-fly class swapping, Daredevil chases, and tourist photo tasks. Those builds often unlocked the whole garage and skipped Rush Master pacing, so they are field notes, not launch reviews. This wiki does not invent scores. The hands-on preview notes collect that reporting in one place.
How to use this hub with the rest of the wiki
Pick a date and SKU first, then learn the loop. The islands guide covers Wheelswood, Tentacle Bay, Gearville, and Drifty Temples. Vehicle classes explains Versatiles, Titans, Drifters, and Speeders. Challenges lists Daredevil, Tourist, drift, and delivery work. PC players should confirm system requirements before a pre-load. Official store links sit on the links page.
Until September 10, the useful “updates” are calendar facts, SKU math, and preview caveats — not balance hotfixes. If a storefront still shows September 24, trust Milestone’s moved-up date and the release date page. After launch, patch notes will join this hub instead of replacing the edition and roadmap articles.
