Tools Hub

HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush is a Milestone arcade racer aimed at PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, ROG Xbox Ally handhelds, and PC through Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store. The worldwide date is September 10, 2026, with Ultimate Edition Early Access on September 7. This hub does not replace a storefront. It points you at the technical pages that actually change a purchase or a playlist: system requirements for PC, platforms and performance for frame-rate and cross-play, and game modes for Quick Race through Drift Master.

If you are still choosing an edition, that comparison lives under editions. If you only need the calendar, use the release date page. Tools here are the spec sheet and the platform sheet.

Start with the machine you already own

PC first. Steam’s published floor is Windows 11, a Ryzen 3 1200 or Core i3-12100, 8 GB of RAM, a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or Radeon RX 460, DirectX 12, and 30 GB of storage. Recommended steps up to a Ryzen 5 5600X or Core i5-12400, 16 GB of RAM, and a GeForce RTX 3060 or Radeon RX 6600X. Both rows note DLSS 4 Super Resolution / DLAA and FSR 4 upscaling. There is no Windows 10 line. Online play on PC uses Epic Online Services and Easy Anti-Cheat. Steam also marks the game as controller-recommended with full controller support, including Xbox and PlayStation pads. Read the system requirements page for what those notes mean in practice (kernel anti-cheat, EOS account linking, upscalers as a quality tool rather than a free upgrade to recommended hardware).

Console and handheld next. Milestone’s published targets, confirmed again in a late-August interview with game director Domenico Celenza, are:

  • PS5 Pro — up to 4K with PSSR, up to 120 FPS
  • PS5 — 4K at 60 FPS
  • Xbox Series X — 4K at 60 FPS
  • Xbox Series S — 1440p at 60 FPS
  • Nintendo Switch 2 — 1080p at 30 FPS

Those are targets, not a reviewer’s capture card. The platforms page also covers split-screen (up to four players), online fields (up to twelve on the home consoles and PC), the Switch 2 cross-play exclusion, and the six-car split-screen cap the director clarified for that handheld. Xbox store listings add Xbox Play Anywhere between Series hardware and PC, plus 4K Ultra HD and HDR10 on the Series SKU.

What this hub will not do

It will not host a FPS slider preset pack, a made-up benchmark table, or a “this GPU is S-tier” graphic. Infinite Rush is still upcoming. Minimum specs describe a 30 FPS-class floor on last-generation PC parts; they do not promise the PS5’s 4K 60 on a GTX 1050 Ti. Recommended specs are the honest PC analogue of Series X, not a 120 FPS guarantee.

It will also not tell you a SKU “cannot be bought.” Some storefronts were wishlist-only when the September 1 roadmap article went up (the asterisk sat on Switch 2 and Steam in that post). Days before launch, store pages move. Check the official stores linked from the links hub rather than treating a September 1 footnote as a permanent lockout.

Pair tools with the rest of the wiki

A spec check is useless if you then buy the wrong edition or skip the handling basics. After you confirm the PC box or the console SKU:

  1. Compare editions if Early Access, the Vehicle Pass, or Ferrari content matters.
  2. Skim getting started so the first hour is not a menu maze.
  3. Read controls — Milestone recommends a controller even on PC, and the arcade, almost no-friction toy physics in preview notes are built around analog steering.
  4. Come back to platforms if you care about split-screen couch nights versus 12-player online, or if you are on Switch 2 and need the cross-play exception in writing.

The short version: Windows 11 and 30 GB if you are on PC, a current-gen console if you want a published 60 FPS target, Switch 2 if you accept 1080p 30 and no cross-play, and a pad either way. Open the two child pages, then leave this hub. Launch week is a bad time to discover Easy Anti-Cheat after the download finishes, or to learn Switch 2 is outside the cross-play pool after you already invited a PS5 friend.

Check the spec sheet, pick the SKU that matches the screen in your room, and only then spend money on a Deluxe or Ultimate stack. Tools exist so the garage, the islands, and the Rush Squad are the surprise — not the operating system.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Does Infinite Rush run on Windows 10?

Steam and Epic both list Windows 11 for minimum and recommended. There is no published Windows 10 path. See system requirements.

Where are the console frame-rate targets?

On the platforms and performance page: PS5 Pro up to 4K 120 with PSSR, PS5 and Series X at 4K 60, Series S at 1440p 60, Switch 2 at 1080p 30.

Is a controller required on PC?

Steam lists full controller support and says the developers recommend a controller. Keyboard play is not described as unsupported, but analog steering matches the arcade handling in preview notes.

Which page covers cross-play and Switch 2?

The platforms page. Cross-play excludes Switch 2. Online fields go to twelve on the other SKUs; Switch 2 split-screen uses a six-car cap.

What anti-cheat does the PC version use?

Steam lists Easy Anti-Cheat, and online features use Epic Online Services (with Steam account linking). Details and account notes are on system requirements.
