HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush Infinite Rush Guides Hub

First hours, four islands, Rush Squads, and the bosses that sit on each map.

Guides Hub

HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush is Milestone’s die-cast-scale arcade racer: four freely explorable islands, more than 150 vehicles at launch, and a Rush Master waiting on each map. This hub is the index for every English guide on the wiki. Use it to plan the first session, then jump into the page that matches the question you actually have, not a generic how-to-play-racing-games checklist.

The game is still upcoming. Worldwide launch is September 10, 2026, with Ultimate Edition Early Access on September 7. Nothing here assumes the campaign is already in players’ hands. Where a mechanic is confirmed by Milestone or by preview coverage, the guide states it. Where a keyboard map, island-by-island boss car, or hidden scoring rule has not been published, the page refuses to invent one.

How to use this hub

Start with Getting Started if you have not picked a platform or edition yet. Move to Controls once you care about boost, drift, and swapping a Rush Squad mid-drive. Read the islands guide before you treat the four maps as a blur of orange plastic. Open-world activities live on the challenges page. The two systems that decide whether events feel fair (the four-class garage and the island bosses) have their own deep dives: Rush Squad and Rush Master. Creative players should bookmark the Track Builder guide rather than treating the editor as a day-one side note.

Vehicle identity is not a flavour label. Structured races are class-versus-class, and free roam rewards the car that actually fits the job. Pair these pages with the vehicle classes overview and the best cars notes when you start naming a squad. Timing, SKUs, and post-launch packs sit under Updates: release date, editions, roadmap, and preview. Hardware questions belong on platforms and system requirements. Official storefronts and community links live on Links.

Getting Started

The beginner guide covers the first hours without turning them into a completionist grind: edition choice, platform differences, the Wheelswood opening, and why a four-class Rush Squad matters before you chase every icon on the map. Daredevils and Track Builder sessions are real, but none of them replace learning boost or the Launcher.

Controls

Infinite Rush is an arcade racer with near-zero friction, not a simulation. The controls guide lists the actions you will remap (accelerate, brake, steer, drift, boost, look, and swap the active squad car) without publishing a fake PC key table. Milestone recommends a controller. DayOne preview coverage confirmed that A on Xbox is turbo/boost. Steam lists seven accessibility features.

Islands Guide

You start in Wheelswood, a Hollywood-like toy metropolis of skyscrapers and side streets, then jump through the Launcher to Tentacle Bay, Gearville, and Drifty Temples. The islands guide is the geography page: what each island looks like, how the ramp/teleport system connects them, and why Isola Ferrari from the Ferrari Expansion is a post-launch / Ultimate island rather than a fifth map on day one. If marketing art still shows a Citypark logo, the press name to use is Tentacle Bay.

Open-World Challenges

Races are only part of the loop. The challenges guide breaks down Daredevil hunts, Tourist photos, Drift Stunts, Stuntman runs, Destroy Everything smash jobs, Delivery Stunts with a health bar, plus boost stunts and treasure hunts. Several of these feed the garage directly: win a Daredevil 1v1 and you keep the car; finish a clean Delivery Stunt and the borrowed Hot Wheels can stay. That page is the one to open when the map is noisy and you need to know which icon is worth a detour.

Rush Master Guide

Each island has a boss. Complete enough events to unlock their challenge, beat them, and you claim their car and title. Beat all four and you become the true Rush Master. The Rush Master guide is the loop page: unlock conditions, why class matching matters, and the official cars shown so far (Rig Storm, 2017 Aston Martin Vulcan, Sharkruiser, Mad Manga). It is not a damage-phase walkthrough, because those numbers are not public yet.

Rush Squad Guide

A Rush Squad is one favourite from each class (Versatile, Titan, Drifter, Speeder) swapped on the fly while you roam. The Rush Squad guide explains why class-locked events punish a one-car garage, how free-roam picks differ from structured races, and how to stop treating the fourth slot as decoration. Read it next to vehicle classes rather than copying a single “meta car” into every event.

Track Builder Guide

The enhanced builder lets you snap modules to ground, wrap them around buildings, and run orange track above the city. The Track Builder guide covers that world-attached workflow, AI action markers, and the sharing rules: creations can be shared across platforms, with Nintendo Switch 2 excluded from full cross-play and from that cross-platform share. It is the page for players who came from Unleashed and want to know what actually changed.

Use this hub as a launch-week map, not as a spoiler dump. After the first Wheelswood session, come back and pick one deep dive: islands if you felt lost, squads if events felt unfair, challenges if the map was louder than the races. The rest of the wiki is there when you need editions, hardware, or a second opinion on cars.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Where should a new player start on this wiki?

Read Getting Started first, then the islands guide and Rush Squad guide. Controls, challenges, and Rush Masters can wait until you have a platform and a four-class garage plan.

Is HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush out yet?

No. Launch is September 10, 2026. Ultimate Edition Early Access is September 7. These guides are written for an upcoming game; they do not describe a live campaign.

Do I need a separate page for vehicle classes?

Yes. Handling identity lives on vehicle classes and best cars. This hub links those pages because class-locked events make the garage a first-hour problem, not a late unlock.

Which guide covers Daredevils and photo challenges?

The open-world challenges page. It also covers Drift Stunts, Stuntman, Destroy Everything, Delivery Stunts, boost stunts, and treasure hunts.

Where do editions, platforms, and the Ferrari island belong?

Compare SKUs on editions, hardware on platforms, and the four launch islands plus the post-launch Ferrari map on the islands guide.
